NYO & YOU

NYO stands for Northside Youth Organization, and runs its programs out of the Chastain Park area.  If you have children who may be interested in baseball, softball, football, cheerleading or basketball ~ you must check this out for them!  NYO offers much more than organized sporting activity.  Camaraderie, discipline and life skills are just some of what your child will take away from playing with NYO.  Baseball and Softball seasons are underway now, but Football and Cheerleading sign ups for Fall, are just around the corner.  If you’re looking for a rewarding volunteer opportunity, NYO needs YOU.  Volunteering through NYO is a great way to give back to the community, helping young people build muscle and self esteem    www.nyosports.com

Don’t Forget Your Manners

Don’t forget your manners!

North Atlanta Cotillion, lead by Ms. Leslie McBee, is a fine way to teach Middle School children manners and social skills.  Ms. McBee makes Cotillion fun and interesting for the children.  Classes are 90 minutes long and parents are welcome to observe.  With an even number of boys and girls, dancing + social interaction occurs easily.  Ms. McBee is well respected by parents and children, and the skills she teaches are helpful for school interviews as well as future business and social situations.  Cotillion is available to children at Middle Schools both public and private, and the cost of the class is money well spent on life-long skills your child will use now and for years to come!  http://northatlantacotillion.com/
